Elton has been with SCE since 2006 and became a director and shareholder in 2016.

Prior to SCE he worked at the Ministry of Agriculture, Water and Forestry within their Rural Water Supply Sector as a Mechanical Engineer. His experience includes the meticulous preparation of tender documentation, evaluation of technical drawings and tender documents, quality inspections of rural pipeline projects, and the planning and supervision of capital budgets.

As a Director of SCE he is largely responsible for the management of mechanical components on building and infrastructure projects ranging from project inception, feasibility studies, project management, co-ordination of designs, compiling construction details and specifications, quality assurance during the implementation stages and commissioning of completed projects.

Elton holds the following Professional Memberships:

• Associate Member at the Institution of Fire Engineers No. 00066456

Henning has been with SCE since 2007 and became a director and shareholder in 2015.

Prior to SCE, Henning completed his Masters in Electrical Engineering with specific focus on power electronics and renewable energy at the University of Stellenbosch. He then went on to gain experience both at BKS (currently Aecom) in South Africa and NIFES Consulting Group in the United Kingdom.

As a Director of SCE he is largely responsible for the management of the design of electrical / electronic components within building and infrastructure projects ranging from project inception, feasibility studies, project management, co-ordination of designs, compiling construction details and specifications, quality assurance during the implementation stages and commissioning of completed projects.

Henning holds the following Professional Memberships:

• Engineering Council of Namibia: Registration No.: PE 29020 (2009)

Ronald has been with SCE since 2010 and became a director and shareholder in 2015.

Prior to SCE, he gained experience at the Planungsgruppe Brachmann GmbH in Munich, Germany. He also completed his Master’s Degree at the Technical University of Munich.  

Ronald’s international experience brings a diverse dynamic to the  civil and structural engineering projects he undertakes which range from project inception, feasibility studies, project management, co-ordination of designs, compiling construction details and specifications, quality assurance during the implementation stages and commissioning of completed projects.

Ronald hold the following Professional Memberships:

• Engineering Council of Namibia: Registration No.: PE 2014-7

Kobus has been with SCE since 2011 and became a director and shareholder in 2021.

As a director of SCE he is largely responsible for the management of the design of mechanical components within building and infrastructure projects ranging from inception, feasibility studies, project management, co-ordination of designs, compiling construction details and specifications, quality assurance during the implementation stages and commissioning of completed projects.

Kobus holds the following Professional Memberships:

• Engineering Council of Namibia: Registration No.: PE 2015-7

After 38 years of dedicated service, Herbert Lerch and Urs Böhlke retired at the end of March 2025.

Their leadership, expertise, and commitment have been instrumental in shaping SCE Consulting Engineers into the trusted and respected company it is today.

Throughout the years, they have not only built strong relationships and delivered excellence, but have also mentored and nurtured the next generation of leaders who will carry this legacy into the future.

While Herbert and Urs are stepping back to enjoy a well-earned retirement, we are pleased to share that they will remain available for expert advice and support.

Their wealth of knowledge and experience will continue to be a valuable resource, even as they take the time to enjoy the next chapter of their journey.
